Katrín Arndís

Hi there! 

My name is Katrín Arndís and I'm a twenty year old girl from Iceland. 

I was born in Iceland but raised in both Iceland and Norway. When I was 16 i went to Southern Italy as an exchange student which was the best decision I've ever made, i met some amazing people there that are still so important to me regardless of the distance. Got a whole new perspective on life and got to learn Italian, which we all know is pretty sexy. 

In 2010 I got an exchange student at my house, Eva from Belgium, which was also an amazing experience, that 180 cm, music loving girl was so great to have around and she'll always be a part of our family. 

Last year I made a spontaneous decision and moved to Australia where I worked with rehabilitating injured penguins. For anyone that has known me for more than a day knows that I love penguins more than any other living thing on this planet, I can't even begin to describe my love for them. I even cried the first time I saw one, I was of course very subtle but there's something about those little creatures that drag out every last bit of mushiness in me! 

I love travelling and use every opportunity I get to go somewhere. So far I've been to around 30 countries and gotten to see and experience some wonderful things, my goal is though to see half the world.

I love chaos, for a reason that's unclear even to myself... everything just seems more characteristic with a bit of mess and chaos. 

I currently study psychology at the university of Iceland working on getting my bachelor's degree which suits me good since I over think everything!
